Elizabeth Farina is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist, FEI competitor, and avid endurance rider. She has experience in eventing, dressage, hunter/jumper, foxhunting, endurance, and CTR, driving, young horses, and gaited horses. Elizabeth has a BS in Equine Science from the University of New Hampshire and a Coaching Certificate from the Irish Equestrian Federation.
Elizabeth enjoys bringing up young horses, developing proper gaits, retraining for confidence and balance, and conditioning and competing sport horses. Elizabeth believes in working with horse and rider to achieve your riding goals. Elizabeth uses her strong dressage background and lots of in-hand work to develop strength, suppleness, and a willing attitude in her training and competition horses.
Gabrielle Belt is a lifelong horse lover and homegrown Clarity instructor and trainer. Gabby has started and restarted numerous horses from OTTBs to babies to gaited rescue horses. Gabby enjoys riding and competing in dressage, hunter/jumper, distance riding and eventing. Gabby thrives with young and young at heart riders. She utilizes correct theory and biomechanics to guide her students for enjoyable riding progression.
Jasmine Slater has a strong background in riding and competing across multiple disciplines, including hunters, eventing, dressage, and Western dressage. A Maryland native, she has also trained and ridden in stables in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. In 2021, Jasmine competed in the Thoroughbred Mega-Makeover with her 4-year-old OTTB, Fury, earning 3rd place in dressage and 4th in freestyle. Beyond her accomplishments in the ring, Jasmine is a true animal lover and is often accompanied by her pup at the farm.Jasmine can break down complex techniques into clear, accessible language, adapting her teaching style to riders of all ages and experience levels.
Lauren Umlandt has worked with eventers, dressage horses, hunter/jumpers, foxhunters, gaited horses, and young stock. Lauren rode as whip for several years, has evented through preliminary, competed in CDR and LD distance rides, and shown dressage through 3rd level. Lauren has a wealth of experience with breeding and starting young horses patiently and correctly while laying out a foundation for a sound and safe riding partner. Lauren focuses on rider strength and position to achieve a seamless bond between horse and rider.
Maria del Carmen Teijeiro brings experience in a variety of disciplines, including jumpers and endurance. In her home country of Argentina, Maria del Carmen has participated in pony club, endurance riding, and show jumping competitions. Maria has a PhD in education. Maria's bright personality inspires her riders, and her specialty is teaching children and riders with anxiety and confidence challenges. Maria is also available for Spanish-language riding lessons.
Katie Beierl is a lifelong equestrian who began her journey in hunter/jumpers and volunteering at EQUI-KIDS therapeutic riding stable. While studying Animal Sciences and Biochemistry at Virginia Tech, where she earned her B.S. Katie expanded her riding into eventing, dressage, and driving, later diversifying further into retraining OTTBs for sport careers, working with gaited horses, and distance riding. She went on to earn her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. Katie is an avid eventer, successfully competing on her self-trained horses through the 3-Day Classic Training Level. As both a dedicated rider and the mother of two young equestrians, Katie brings a thoughtful and practical perspective to her teaching. She uses goal-oriented exercises to guide students of all levels, helping them develop as confident riders and well-rounded athletes.
Hope Weiss has been riding and handling horses since childhood, with over fifteen years of experience in horsemanship. Hope earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland and completed a rehabilitation internship at Day’s End Farm Horse Rescue. Hope enjoys helping riders build confidence and develop strong partnerships with their horses while fostering a safe and positive learning environment.
